BALLARD FFA TO CELEBRATE BIRTHDAY WITH TAILGATE DINNER AND AUCTION

HUXLEY, IOWA – The Ballard FFA Chapter will be celebrating their third birthday with a tailgate dinner on Friday, December 7, 2018 during the Pack the Gym Night. A dessert silent auction and live auction will also be held during the event.

“We wanted to celebrate all the successes we’ve had in our four years,” said Ashley Kahler, chapter secretary.

The menu for the event will include a baked potato bar and a drink and will be served from 5:30 to 7:30 p.m.. Tickets are currently available for $5 and can be purchased from any Ballard FFA member.

During the meal, attendees are invited to bid on the silent auction items which will remain open through halftime of the boys game. A live auction for a Ballard throw quilt will take place during halftime of the boys game.

“Not only are we celebrating our successes but the money raised helps us send members to local, district and national leadership conferences,” said senior Grace Long.

The Ballard FFA Chapter was chartered on October 9, 2014 and currently provides leadership opportunities to members at local, district and state levels.
