Women from the Ballard FFA Chapter plan to attend FarmHer conference

On Nov. 15, 2018 Grace Long (12), Grace Hill (11) Ashley Kahler (12), Ellie Twedt (11) and Amber Wilt (11) will be participating in the FarmHer conference. The conference is focused on women in the agricultural industry. FarmHer is an organization that takes picture of women working in fields and with livestock. Grace Long is one of the members participating in this event.

“FarmHer is a brand that I have heard about quite frequently and I am excited to learn about the company, and about women in agriculture,” said senior Grace Long.

FarmHer is a organization inspiring women in the agricultural field. They hold many conferences to talk about what they do and the company.

“I found the conference subject interesting because of the way the company has grown immensely and the pictures they take of women on the farm and as a photographer I found that really interesting,” said Long.
